Nice Ones set summer run amidst full-length recording

Much of summer 2016 will be spent behind the scenes recording full length album #2 at Stone Studio with Graham Stone, who produced The Nice Ones' last release Hungry Ghosts EP in 2015. The new record will be preceded by a lead single and music video — pre-production of which is underway. Through these projects is a limited, predominately-NYC set of shows at Black Bear Bar (6/3), Pianos (6/25), Rockwood Music Hall (7/8), and The Bitter End (7/28). The run includes a sixth consecutive appearance at Spring for Sound (6/11), the Hudson Valley music festival where The Nice Ones debuted at the event's inauguration in 2011. Across the border to the east, a show at Norfolk, CT's Infinity Hall (7/2) features a co-bill with funk lords The New Review, who join along at Black Bear Bar as well. The summer sets will preview material from the album as it develops to fruition.
